Purpose of Membership

Our membership scheme helps ensure that the Xia-Gibbs Syndrome UK Foundation remains community-led, transparent and financially sustainable. Members play an active role in the governance of the charity, including the right to vote on key decisions and influence the future direction of our work.

Membership contributions help cover the core running costs of the charity, such as marketing materials and web hosting, allowing donations to be directed solely towards supporting families and delivering frontline activities.

Why Become a Member?

Our membership scheme is a vital part of the Xia-Gibbs Syndrome UK Foundation. It ensures we remain community-led, financially sustainable and grounded in the voices of those who matter most: the families we support.

Becoming a member is more than a gesture of support. It offers a meaningful role in the life of the charity, including the ability to vote on key decisions, elect trustees and contribute to the direction of our work.

Membership fees help cover essential operational costs, such as website hosting, awareness materials and meeting expenses. This allows public donations to be used entirely for supporting children and families affected by Xia-Gibbs Syndrome.
