Our Therapist Directory Page

We’re in the process of building a trusted directory of therapists and professionals who have experience working with children diagnosed with Xia-Gibbs Syndrome — or other rare neurodevelopmental conditions.

Our goal is to connect families with supportive, informed professionals across the UK, and to highlight those who understand the unique needs of children with complex, evolving developmental profiles.

This is a work in progress, and we’re adding new names and contacts as families share their experiences and professionals reach out to join

Speech & Language Therapists (SLT)

Coming soon — we’re collecting recommendations and insights from families.

Occupational Therapists (OT)

Listings to be added — including practitioners with experience in hypotonia, sensory integration, and adaptive skill development.

Physiotherapists

Focused on practitioners who support children with motor delays, hypotonia, and core strength development.

Educational Psychologists

We’re building a list of professionals who can support EHCP assessments and early learning plans.

Music Therapists

Therapists who use music and sensory engagement to support communication, emotional regulation, and developmental goals.

Paediatricians

A growing list of neurodevelopmental and community paediatricians who are open to supporting children with rare conditions like XGS.

As our network grows, we’ll continue adding listings for play therapists, genetic counsellors, sleep specialists, feeding teams, psychologists and others. If you’ve worked with someone brilliant — or are someone brilliant — we’d love to hear from you.

If you’re a clinician, therapist, or professional who works with children with rare or complex needs, we’d love to include you in our network.
